As we pass Big Piney Run and continue up the Shale Flats above it, we forget the lesson we learned at Laurel Cliff. "We still have a ways to climb!" We don't forget for long, as we soon encounter the Upper Cascade section of Glade Run. If you thought the Lower Cascade was rough going, wait till you see this. The rocks are scattered about like a child's building blocks on the playroom floor. A good? place to break your rod or something else if you aren't careful. |
